Sue Zanker

Sue Zanker PhD has extensive experience in the field of clinical research and pharmaceutical project management. Sue currently holds the position of Medical Affairs Operations Director at Bionical Emas, where they have previously served as Rare Disease Operations Director and Regulatory Affairs Manager. Prior to their time at Bionical Emas, Sue worked as a Director at ZKR Clinical Research Ltd, where they delivered project management and operational services for both UK and international clients in various therapeutic areas, including oncology and gastroenterology. Sue also worked as a Senior Project Manager at PAREXEL, where they managed international phase III clinical trials, and as a Global Operations Manager at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where they oversaw multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and Crohn's disease trials. Sue's early career involved serving as a Senior Clinical Research Manager at Elan Pharmaceuticals, where they led a clinical development program for a biologic treatment for Crohn's disease.

Sue Zanker PhD pursued their education chronologically, beginning in 1989. Sue attended The Manchester Metropolitan University where they completed their Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Applied Biological Sciences in the years ranging from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Bristol from 1994 to 1998 to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology.
