Jay Shah

Jay Shah serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Neurava Inc., a position held since June 2019. Additionally, Shah has been involved in product development at Bionode since July 2018, focusing on the IOPTx platform technology designed for glaucoma treatment. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, where Shah led projects on implantable electroceutical devices, and as a Research Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin, concentrating on gold nanoparticles for tumor therapy. Earlier roles included internships at Cyberonics, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Rice University, where significant contributions to medical device testing and tissue engineering were made. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
