Pratima Cherukuri

Pratima Cherukuri currently serves as General Manager and Senior Vice President of pDNA at Bionova Scientific since June 2025 and is the Founder of JanikaCell Consulting LLC, also established in February 2025. Previously, Pratima held the position of Chief Scientific Officer and Director of Process and Analytical Development at Genezen from April 2019 to May 2025. Other roles include Assay Validation Specialist at Covance, Research and Development at Indiana University Vector Production Facility, Scientific Associate at Parcell Laboratories, and Research Assistant at Dartmouth College. Pratima’s early research includes establishing a link between tumor protein P63 and the TGFb signaling pathway in mammary epithelial cells. Pratima holds an MBA and an Executive Certificate in Business of Life Sciences from Indiana University, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Master's degree in Cytogenetics from Osmania University, a Bachelor's in Microbiology from Osmania University, and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami.
