Asaf Poran

Asaf Poran is a seasoned expert in systems immunology with extensive experience in bioinformatics, currently serving as Senior Director at BioNTech SE since May 2020, having previously held multiple leadership roles within the organization. Prior to BioNTech, Asaf was a Senior Scientist at Neon Therapeutics, focusing on integrating various data types in immune-oncology research. Asaf's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, where innovative work in single-cell technologies led to significant scientific contributions.
