Bastian Sieber

Bastian Sieber is an experienced software engineer and leader in the field of DevOps, currently serving as Associate Director DevOps at BioNTech SE since November 2018. In this role, Bastian Sieber oversees the DevOps team and manages the central software development platform, which includes tools such as GitHub, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory, ensuring efficiency and security for software development teams. Previously, Bastian Sieber contributed to the development of the Histo research database, a single-page web application for managing experimental and order-related data in the histology department. Prior to BioNTech SE, Bastian Sieber worked at DS Datentechnik und Softwareentwicklung Müftahi GmbH from February 2015 to October 2018 as a software engineer, focusing on C# software development for an ERP system and participating in data replication projects across various business locations.
