Bram Ten Cate

Bram ten Cate serves as the Global Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology at BioNTech SE since February 2023, bringing extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Prior to this role, Bram ten Cate held leadership positions at Roche, overseeing Manufacturing Science and Technology from April 2021 to February 2023, and at Sanofi, where roles included Industrial Product Leader and Senior Manager Technology Transfer from September 2015 to April 2021. Earlier career experiences include program management at Patheon Biologics B.V. and DSM, as well as a strong foundational role in analytical development and quality control. Bram ten Cate earned a PhD in Immuno-oncology from the University Medical Center Groningen and holds a Master's degree in Medical Biology and Molecular Neurobiology from the University of Groningen.
