Butch Darrow

Butch Darrow is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, quality assurance, and product development within the automotive and biotechnology sectors. Currently working at BioNTech SE in process development since 2024, Butch previously served as Chief Product Officer and EVP of Engineering and Technology at DDM from 2019 to 2020, and held various leadership roles at Faraday Future and Philips from 2015 to 2018. Butch's notable career at General Motors from 1990 to 2015 included responsibilities as Product Development Quality Director, Regional Quality Director for Southeast Asia, and Global Vehicle Line Director, among other positions. Butch holds a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, another MBA from HKUST Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
