Harita Babbar has a diverse work experience in the field of quality control, molecular biology, and diagnostics. Harita currently works at BioNTech SE as a Quality Control Analytical Technical Lead, where they lead the technical transfer of molecular and cell-based assays for T cell therapy products. Harita utilized financial tools to categorize companies based on services and products provided and collected useful information for communication between buyers and sellers.

Additionally, Harita has internship experience at OncoPlex Diagnostics, where they supported marketing efforts and conducted market research on competitors in the field of cancer diagnostics. Harita was responsible for designing materials to introduce technology to oncologists and expanding the biomarker menu for protein expression analysis.

Early in their career, Harita worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Division of Seed Science and Technology, IARI, Pusa Campus, and as a Junior Research Fellow at the Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, Pusa Campus. In these roles, they conducted research on pearl millet and wheat diseases, including gene profiling and sequence analysis.

Continuing their education, they then attended the School of Biotechnology at Gautam Buddha University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology. In 2014, they pursued further studies at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where they completed a Master's Degree in Biotechnology (Bio-Business Track) in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Harita Babbar has obtained two certifications related to their field of study. In August 2014, they received a certification in Basic Laboratory Safety from Georgetown University Medical Center. Additionally, in the same month and year, they obtained a certification in Research Ethics and Integrity, also from Georgetown University Medical Center.
