Mathias Pierre

Mathias Pierre is a research scientist specializing in theoretical physics with a focus on the enigmatic nature of Dark Matter. Since October 2015, Mathias has engaged in various theoretical pursuits related to particle physics and cosmology, contributing to research and education throughout their career. Currently a Senior Scientist in Personalized Computational Genomics at BioNTech SE, Mathias has held notable positions including postdoctoral fellowships at institutions like DESY and the Instituto de Física Teórica. Mathias also completed a PhD in High Energy Theoretical Physics, during which they were awarded a €60k grant from the French ministry of national education. In addition to their research endeavors, Mathias actively participates as a shareholder in the non-profit initiative Team for the Planet, aiming to combat climate change.
