Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at BioNTech SE, Sierk oversees production, automation, digitalization, sustainability, compliance, site services, and internal communications. Prior to this role, Sierk held various financial positions at Sandoz Inc United States and Sandoz. With a Ph.D. in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Master's degree in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, Sierk brings a depth of knowledge and experience to their leadership roles.
