Lindsay McGowan

Lindsay McGowan has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Lindsay began their career at Glasgow Science Centre in 2005, where they were involved in life sciences event management until 2009. Lindsay then joined BioOutsource as a Business Development Manager from 2009 to 2011, and was later promoted to Head of Business Development until 2015. Lindsay's most recent role was as Director of Business Development at BioPharmaSpec, a US and UK-based CRO specializing in the characterization and testing of biopharmaceutical products. Their responsibilities at BioPharmaSpec included assisting clients with analytical areas such as protein sequencing, peptide mapping, and structure elucidation.

Lindsay McGowan completed their undergraduate education at the University of Glasgow from 1999 to 2003. Lindsay earned a B.Sc. Hons degree in Biochemistry during this time. Additionally, Lindsay obtained a certification in Managing Virtual Teams from LinkedIn in July 2023.
