Mit Patel

Mit Patel has a diverse work experience in engineering, growth, data, and software development roles. Mit currently serves as the Engineering Manager, Growth & Data at BioRender since March 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the growth and data functions of the company. Prior to their current role, Mit worked as the Growth Engineer at BioRender from April 2020 to March 2022. As the first growth engineer at BioRender, they built and implemented various product growth experimentation processes, marketing email integration workflows, and analytical systems. Additionally, they were involved in developing a feature flagging service and a data warehouse.

Previously, Mit worked as the CTO & Co-Founder at SanoMetrics from May 2018 to April 2020, where they contributed to the overall technical strategy of the company. Mit also gained experience in software development and data science as part of their role at the University of Toronto from July 2017 to April 2018. Lastly, they worked as a Software Developer at Go Integrations Inc. for a brief period in May and July 2017.

Mit Patel completed an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto from 2016 to 2020. The program focused on the fields of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, as well as Computer Science.
