Roman Blyshchyk

Roman Blyshchyk started their work experience in 2010 as a Database Software Developer at Flying Colours Corp, where they developed software and macros for managing the company's airplane database, increasing efficiency. Roman then worked at Research In Motion from 2011 to 2012 as a Tools and Drivers Developer, maintaining and developing features in C# and C++ and automating the release process.

In 2014, Roman joined Advanced Utility Systems as a Junior Software Developer, where they worked on various projects from design to completion, including creating backup tools and performance testing tools. Roman later became a Software Developer and Project Owner for Service Order Management, responsible for scheduling software releases and assisting teammates.

From 2019 to 2021, Roman worked at Opencare.com as a Software Developer, focusing on connecting Dental Practice Management Systems with Opencare infrastructure while ensuring HIPPA compliance. Roman delivered solutions ranging from bug fixes to larger functionalities, empowering dental offices in North America.

Currently, Roman is a Senior Software Engineer at BioRender since March 2021.

Roman Blyshchyk completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree with Honours in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. Roman attended the university from 2008 to 2013.
