Melissa Gianello

Melissa Gianello has a diverse work experience, starting their career as an Undergraduate Researcher in MIT Ideation Lab in 2015. Melissa then moved on to the MIT Device Research Lab, where they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher on a project aimed at developing a cost-effective and energy-efficient cooling device. In 2016, Melissa interned at the Higher Education Solutions Network (HESN), working on a poverty-fighting collaboration between USAID and MIT. Melissa also had an internship at Magic Leap in 2017, gaining experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. From 2018 to 2021, Melissa worked at Neocis Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the redesign of dental devices and coordinating tasks among quality, regulatory, and manufacturing departments. Currently, Melissa holds the position of Operations Director at BioRep Technologies, Inc., starting in 2021.

Melissa Gianello attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Product Design.
