Carlos Enrique Mata Saravia has worked in a variety of roles in the Central American business sector since 2008. In that year, they were the Founder and Managing Partner of DNA Ventures, and the Managing Partner of PMOVIL. In 2009, they became the Director of Grupo DKT and the Representative for Central America at WOBI. In 2011, they were the Director of Prime and in 2015, they were the Director of Grupo Financiero Ficohsa. In 2017, they became the Co-Founder and Director of Biorgani and a Member Board of Directors of Grupo AGRISAL. In 2019, they were the Director of Yalutec and, in 2021, they became the Second Vicepresident of the Board of Directors of The Business Council of Latin America.

Carlos Enrique Mata Saravia's education history includes obtaining a B.S. in Finance/Management from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business between 2002 and 2006. In 2015, they completed the VCx Program at Draper University. Carlos Enrique then earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from INCAE Business School between 2016 and 2018. Most recently, they completed an Online Certificate Program in Cryptocurrency from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2021.
