Thomas Kirkegaard Jensen

Thomas Kirkegaard Jensen serves as the CEO and Founder of Amplify Therapeutics since February 2023. In addition, Thomas holds the position of Board Trustee with Niemann-Pick UK, contributing to the charity's strategic direction and governance. Thomas is also an Executive in Residence at Aloop Therapeutics and an Entrepreneur in Residence at BiOrigin. Previously, Thomas was the Chief Scientific Officer of Orphazyme from June 2009 to October 2022, leading research efforts in rare and neurodegenerative diseases and overseeing critical regulatory interactions. Thomas's early career includes roles such as Vice-Chairman at the Orphan Disease Council and a postdoctoral position at the Danish Cancer Society. Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Medicine from the University of Copenhagen and is certified in Project Management by the International Project Management Association.
