Alyssa Horton is an experienced communications professional specializing in healthcare, with a focus on oncology and mental health. Currently serving as a Team Lead at Biosector 2 since July 2012, Alyssa develops and executes strategic communications initiatives, supports regulatory milestones, and implements programs aimed at reducing barriers to care. Prior to this role, Alyssa was a Senior Account Executive at MSL New York from September 2009 to July 2012, where strategic and tactical support was provided for a variety of healthcare accounts, along with pro bono communication efforts for a nonprofit organization. Alyssa began their career with an internship at Tufts Medical Center, contributing to public affairs and communication efforts. Alyssa holds a Master’s degree in Health Communication from Emerson College and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
