Thierry Roussel

Thierry Roussel has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Thierry most recently worked as a QA Engineer at Biosency starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they were a System Engineer at CELAD for BIOMÉRIEUX from April 2021 to April 2022. Thierry also held the position of System Engineer at CELAD for Blue Solutions from May 2015 to January 2021.

Thierry has previous experience as a Validation Engineer for CELAD, working on projects such as Project CLAROTV for SMARDTV from July 2014 to December 2014 and Project PCSAM-ERTMS for ANSALDO from May 2014 to July 2014. Thierry was responsible for defining test strategies, managing test plans, executing tests, and analyzing bugs.

Before joining CELAD, Thierry worked as an STB Integration & Release Manager for CELAD for SAGEMCOM from March 2013 to December 2013. In this role, they were involved in the development and integration of an OpenTV Core 2.4 Set Top Box (STB) for Project DSTI74 for EMBRATEL. Their responsibilities included software integration, configuration management, release management, and validation and certification support.

Thierry also gained experience as a V&V Engineer for CELAD for ELTA from October 2012 to March 2013, working on Project CBTC-DCS Lyon, which involved the design and implementation of a communication network for the subway in Lyon.

Prior to their time at CELAD, Thierry worked at Orange Business IT&Labs as an STB Integration & Release Manager from March 2011 to October 2012, and at Motorola as an IPTV Integration and Test Lead from June 2009 to December 2010. At Motorola, they also held the position of SW Project Leader from September 2005 to May 2009, where they were responsible for project management, supplier interaction, system and software architecture, technical leadership, and people management.

Overall, Thierry Roussel has a strong background in engineering roles, particularly in quality assurance, system integration, validation, and project management.

From 1991 to 1996, Thierry Roussel attended the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes, where they obtained a degree in Engineering. Their field of study was Electronics & Radiocommunications.
