Ashkan Vaziri has a long history of professional experience. Ashkan is currently the Founder and CEO of BioSensics, a position they have held since 2019. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Research Associate in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. From 2008 to 2013, they were a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University, as well as the Director of the High-Performance Materials and Structures Laboratory and an Affiliated Faculty of the Department of Bioengineering. From 2007 to 2008, they were an Associate in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering at Harvard University, a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley, and a Senior Research Scientist at FM Global. From 2004 to 2007, they were a Research Associate and Lecturer, Post-Doctoral Fellow and Lecturer at Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and a Post-Doctoral Research Affiliate at MIT.

Ashkan Vaziri completed a Post Doc at Harvard University from 2004 to 2006 in the field of Mechanics and Materials. Prior to that, they obtained their PhD from Northeastern University from 2001 to 2004 in the same field.
