Bing Su

Dr. Bing Su obtained his B.S. degree from Peking University in 1984 and his Ph.D. degree from Yale University in 1991. He did his postdoctoral training with Dr. Michael Karin at the University of California San Diego before starting his academic career in 1995 as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center where he became a tenured professor in 2006. He joined Yale University in 2006 as a tenured associated professor at the Department of Immunobiology and stayed until 2014 before relocating to SJTU in China. Dr. Bing Su is now the Director of Shanghai Institute of Immunology and Chair of Department of Immunology and Microbiology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Director of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine-Yale University Institute for Immune Metabolism (SYIIM). Dr. Su is still an Adjunct Professor at Department of Immunobiology at Yale University. Dr. Su also holds a KC Wong Chair Professorship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
