Henry Marentes

Henry Marentes has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Henry began their career in 1986 as an ERP Systems Analyst at Emerald Systems, where they built and tested tape back-up systems. Henry then worked as a Manager of Information Systems at Infrasonics, managing a team and ensuring network security and compliance.

In 1993, Marentes joined Pacific Communication Sciences, Inc. as the Director Of Information Systems, overseeing infrastructure, policies, and ERP implementation for the company. Henry later worked at Valor Electronics as the Director Of Information Systems, where they managed global informatics and established standards and procedures for information systems.

In 1998, Marentes founded Innovapp Inc. as the CTO & Owner. Henry led the sale, development, and support of websites for various industry leaders.

Marentes joined Illumina in 2003 as a Customer Network Architect before being promoted to the role of Director. Henry supported global genomic laboratory customers and led the deployment of complex informatics solutions. Henry also contributed significant revenue and managed teams.

In 2008, Marentes co-founded Marvest Enterprise LLC and established a Bachelors program in Criminal Justice, which gained national recognition.

Finally, in 2012, Marentes co-founded BioSoft Integrators Inc. Henry served as the CEO & Co-Founder, overseeing the growth and profitability of the business. Henry played an instrumental role in the development of the initial product offering and expanded the company to employ over 60 staff across multiple locations.

Overall, Marentes has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as SaaS, high-performance computing, laboratory information management systems, and network architecture.

Henry Marentes completed their education at National University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Systems in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in the same year. Additionally, they received a certification as a Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in April 2012.
