Hong Yu

Hong Yu is the current President at Biostage. Biostage is a regenerative medicine company that focuses on developing and commercializing bioengineered organ implants.

Hong has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Prior to joining Biostage, they served as a team leader at PRT Group (now Enherent Inc). Hong also worked as a clinical statistician at G.D. Searle Pharmaceutical and as a SAS programmer analyst at Health Research and Policy Centers, University of Illinois at Chicago.

Hong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Peking University and a Master of Science degree in biostatistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Hong Yu received a BS in biophysics from Peking University and an MS in biostatistics from the University of Illinois Chicago. Hong also attended Huanggang High School.
