Timothy Kassis

Timothy Kassis currently serves as the Head of AIBiostate AI, a position held since February 2025. Prior to this role, Timothy worked as a Scientific Advisor and Principal Machine Learning Researcher at Matterworks from April 2023 to January 2025, and as Head of AI & Data Science. Timothy's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Associate and Lead Instructor role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from August 2015 to January 2021, as well as founding and serving as CEO of Augence Technologies from August 2019 to December 2020. Timothy began a career in academia as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2009 to July 2015. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Postdoc in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
