Angi Taylor

Manager, Employer Partnerships at BioSTL

As the Manager of Employer Partnerships, Angi will play a key role in implementing the region’s bioscience workforce strategy. She will support the growth of employers in bioscience ecosystem by managing partnerships between employers, academic and training providers, and community organizations to meet workforce needs. Further, she will spearhead equitable and inclusive workforce development initiatives that lead to quality employment across the bioscience sector in the region.

Although Angi Taylor holds a Master of Arts Degree in Communications/Speech from University of Missouri-Columbia, she's always been fascinated by science. Life brought her to BRDG Park in 2010 as an administrative assistant for St. Louis Community College, Center for Plant & Life Sciences. In 2013, she was promoted to Education Outreach Specialist for the the Center.

It was there that she began to dabble in the Center's life science labs, which propelled her to obtain a Life Sciences Lab Assistant Certificate in 2015. Upon completion, she interned for NewLeaf Symbiotics at BRDG Park and achieved full-time employment there in 2018, beginning as a Lab Clerk and promoted to Research Assistant. Duties included preparing specialized plate media, performing as Chemical Hygiene Officer, Culture Team member, 2022 M-Trophy winner, and overall “Lab Mom.”
