Scott Huston

Scott is a native St. Louisan recognized for the development of innovative healthcare products and partnerships that seek to improve patient outcomes and provider experience while directly contributing to the evolution of the US care delivery model. He’s also adept at building and leading results-orientated teams.

In his current role as Healthcare Business Development Director with GlobalSTL, Scott is trusted to uncover innovation needs from partner organizations and to leverage the team’s global innovation sourcing ecosystem to bring market-ready solutions to hospital systems, providers, payers, PBMs, government programs, and health services firms. As a result of his and GlobalSTL’s work, St. Louis corporations will lead in US health care innovation and transformation, innovation startups from 20+ countries will find entry and or scale into the US market and a home here in St. Louis, and St. Louis and surrounding regions will benefit from generated economic vitality.

Prior to his role with GlobalSTL, Scott led a Bay Area-based product focused on the integration of provider systems including mobile team communication and the applications of telehealth. Also, notably, he led an $300M investment project at McKesson Specialty Health that improved care outcomes and increased access to innovative treatment solutions in community oncology to earn his team a “Peak Performance Award.” He has led growth and analytics for two privately held diagnostics companies. He also has been a clinical technician and published researcher.

Scott received both a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology and a M.B.A. from Saint Louis University.
