Rosa Santos

Rosa Santos is the current CEO at Biosurfit, a position they have held since January 2014. Prior to their current role, Rosa was the Finance Administration Director at biosurfit from January 2010-January 2020. In this role, Rosa was responsible for all monthly and year-end planning and procedures for 35 stores and Direct and Advantage businesses, as well as statutory accounting, treasury, taxes, review of general ledger accounts, review and approval of journal entries, fixed assets maintenance, and inventory closing. Rosa also liaised with auditors, lawyers, tax inspectors, and other third parties. From January 2009-January 2010, Rosa was the Category Manager at Staples Portugal, where they managed software and office machines for retail and online businesses. Prior to that role, Rosa was the Accounting Manager at Staples Portugal from January 2001-January 2008. In this role, Rosa was responsible for all monthly and year-end planning and procedures for 35 stores and Direct and Advantage businesses, as well as statutory accounting, treasury, taxes (VAT, Personal and Corporate taxes, deferred taxes), review of general ledger accounts, review and approval of journal entries, fixed assets maintenance, inventory closing, liaison with auditors, lawyers, tax inspectors and other third parties. Rosa also coordinated the conversion from SAP to Oracle Finance and Local Accounts to US GAAP accounts.

Rosa Santos has a black belt certification, a post-graduation in Tax Management from Instituto Superior de Gestão, and a degree in Banking and Insurance Management from Iscal.
