Vito Thijssen

Vito Thijssen is a Senior Scientist in Peptide Discovery at Biosynth, with a tenure from January 2022 to January 2025. Prior to this role, Vito served as a Scientist in Peptide Discovery and completed a PhD candidacy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in late 2021, while also contributing as a PhD student at Universiteit Utrecht from May 2017 to December 2021. Vito's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery from Universiteit Utrecht, as well as an Ingenieur degree in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, obtained between January 2014 and January 2017. Vito's early work experience includes a position as a Sales Assistant at Expert from June 2011 to June 2017.
