Toon Musschoot

Toon Musschoot has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Toon is currently a Board Member at flanders.bio since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Investor Relations & Communications at Biotalys NV starting from February 2021.

From May 2017 to September 2021, Toon Musschoot worked as a Senior Consultant for their own business. Before that, they were the Head of Corporate Affairs at Syngenta Benelux from February 2012 to April 2017, responsible for corporate affairs, public & governmental affairs, stakeholder engagement, and ESG. Toon also had previous experience in Investor Relations at Devgen.

Toon Musschoot served as a Senior Cabinet Advisor at FOD Justitie / Ministry of Justice from January 2008 to January 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Case Team Manager at the Belgian Competition Authority from September 2004 to December 2007, handling investigations and prosecutions related to competition law.

Toon'searly career included working as a Business Lawyer for Allen & Overy from 1999 to 2004, specializing in European & Competition law and general commercial law. Toon also spent six months at the company's head office in London.

Toon Musschoot completed their Master's degree in Law, specializing in European and Economic Law, at Ghent University from 1993 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at Vlerick Business School from 1998 to 1999.

In terms of additional certifications, Toon Musschoot obtained a certificate in Building Resilience from LinkedIn in June 2020.
