Marc Martin - Casas

Marc Martin Casas is the Head of Illumina Accelerator in the San Francisco Bay Area, where Marc is involved in building and investing in genomic medicine and genomics-driven startups. Marc is also the Program Manager at Rare Genomics Drug Initiative at Rare Genomics Institute, focusing on accelerating drug repurposing efforts for underserved rare disease indications. In addition, Marc serves as the President and a Board Member of Biotech Connection - Bay Area, Inc. Marc has a diverse background in venture capital, research, and academia, holding a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, among other degrees.
