Aiken Hackett

Aiken Hackett has extensive experience in federal government relations, currently serving as Senior Vice President at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since June 2018. Hackett's previous roles at this organization include Vice President, Senior Director, and Director of Federal Government Relations. Prior experience includes the position of Assistant Director of Congressional Affairs at the American Medical Association from August 2011 to June 2018, and Director of Government Affairs at the American College of Rheumatology from September 2006 to August 2011. Additional roles include Legislative Associate at the Medical Association of Georgia and Legislative Aide at Cornerstone Communications Group. Hackett began a career in legislative support as a Legislative Assistant at The Redding Firm. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the same institution.
