David Lachmann

David Lachmann is a seasoned professional in federal government relations, currently serving as Senior Director at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since March 2017. Prior to this role, David held the position of Administrator at The Maddox Firm from June 2014 to February 2017. David's extensive experience in the U.S. House of Representatives includes work as Chief of Staff for the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties from January 2001 to March 2014, as well as serving as Minority Professional Staff for the Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law from January 1997 to January 2001. Earlier roles include Legislative Director for Representative Jerrold Nadler and Legislative Assistant for Representative Stephen J. Solarz. David began a career in public service as Chief of Staff for Assemblymember Eileen C. Dugan from January 1985 to March 1989. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Boston University, earned between 1981 and 1984.
