Kourtney Gastinell

Kourtney Gastinell is an experienced professional in digital engagement and program management, currently serving as the Manager of Digital Engagement at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since September 2022. In this role, Kourtney oversees social media strategies across multiple platforms, engaging a following of over 200,000. Previous positions include Leadership and Program Youth Fellow at SMYAL, where Kourtney developed programs for LGBTQ+ youth, and Federal Policy Intern at Chesapeake Climate Action Network, focusing on climate legislation and campaign organization. Kourtney also held internships in communications and social media management, contributing to various initiatives, including a notable workshop at a national conference. Kourtney holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Howard University and has studied political science at both IES Abroad and Seattle University.
