Tonia Fykes

Tonia Fykes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management and industry programs within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Chief Events and Industry Programs Officer at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since 1999, Tonia has held various leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and Vice President. Prior to this role, Tonia was Vice President of Event Operations at the Biotechnology Industry Organization and began a career in event management as the Annual Convention Assistant at the American Psychiatric Association from 1997 to 1999. Tonia holds a degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus and possesses certifications as a Certified Event Manager (CEM) and a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
