Nielsen Lagumersindez Denis

Nielsen Lagumersindez Denis has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nielsen started their career as a Fresh graduated Instructor at the University of Havana's Study Center for Research and Biological Evaluations (CEIEB) in 2007 and later became a Junior Researcher there. Nielsen then moved on to work as a Scientific Researcher and PhD Student at the Neuropathology Department of Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.

In 2016, Nielsen joined Charité as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they also completed a certification course titled "from SCIENCE to PHARMA, MSL Certificate" from SCIENCE to PHARMA (FSTP) - MSL global online training.

In 2017, Nielsen served as a Visiting Researcher at Nerf, which was empowered by imec, KU Leuven, and VIB. Nielsen later joined Biotest AG as a Medical Science Liaison Manager, where they were responsible for KOL management and setting the medical strategy for the product portfolio in the ICON region. Nielsen eventually took on the role of Medical & Scientific Affairs Manager, Region ICON (Intercontinental), and then Head of Business Operations, Region MEAF. Currently, they work for Biotest AG as the Business Development Director.

Nielsen Lagumersindez Denis has a diverse education history. In 2002, they started their academic journey by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Havana, which they completed in 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Pharmacology from the same institution, graduating in 2010. Continuing their education, Nielsen went on to obtain a PhD (Dr.rer.nat.) in Molecular Medicine from the University Medical Center Göttingen in Germany, which they accomplished from 2012 to 2015.

Throughout their career, Nielsen has also acquired additional certifications. Additionally, Nielsen completed a live online course, Business Acumen for MSLs, from CELforPharma in 2020. The obtained month for their certifications was not mentioned.
