David Pieters

David Pieters, CPA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Finance & Accounting and Controller at Biotheryx, Inc., a position held since September 2021. Prior to this, David held key roles in finance and accounting at organizations such as Gossamer Bio and Cidara Therapeutics, where responsibilities included SEC reporting and contract accounting. Additional experience includes serving as Controller at Montesquieu Winery, overseeing the entire Finance and Accounting Department, and acting as a Financial Consultant at Interpreta. David began a career in accounting with positions at Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc., CBIZ MHM, LLC, and Solar Turbines, focusing on auditing, financial reporting, and compliance. David holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of the Free State.
