Venkat Reddy Mali

Venkat Reddy Mali has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry. Venkat Reddy currently serves as the Director of Chemistry at Biotheryx, Inc. since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Scientist-II at AbbVie starting from March 2022. Venkat Reddy also worked as a Principal Scientist I at Pharmacyclics, an AbbVie Company from April 2019 to September 2022. Before joining AbbVie, Venkat held several roles at ChemoCentryx, including Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist-II between 2009 and 2019. Venkat Reddy also gained experience as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Metabasis Therapeutics from 2003 to 2009. Venkat began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute from April 2001 to May 2003.

Venkat Reddy Mali received their Ph.D in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from Osmania University.
