Florian Hohnke is a seasoned professional in process and product development, currently serving as a Senior Process Development Engineer at BIOTRONIK since January 2011, where responsibilities include the development of active implants, specification, procurement, and qualification of automation systems, as well as the introduction of new implantable materials into series production and managing sub-projects. Prior to this role, Florian worked as a Process Development Engineer at KMW - Kaufbeurer Mikrosysteme Wiedemann GmbH from March 2004 to December 2010, focusing on the development of assembly and connection technology for thin-film sensor systems through wire bonding techniques. Florian’s career began as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IZM Berlin from June 2001 to February 2004, specializing in chip interconnection technologies, including reflow and flip-chip processes and analysis methods. Educational qualifications include a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Microsystem Technology from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, obtained in October 2003.
