Peter Horan has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Peter started as a Process Engineer and Project Manager at Johnson Matthey from 1992 to 1997. Peter then joined W.L. Gore & Associates as a Process/Project Engineer, where they led a site and process technology expansion.
In 2000, Peter joined Heraeus Electronics and held several positions including Production Manager, Site Operations Manager, and Global Operations Manager. Peter later joined Heraeus Photovoltaics as a Global Operations Manager, where they established and expanded the Global Operations function. Peter also served as the General Manager for a new site in Singapore while leading the Global Operations function for the organization.
Peter then moved to Heraeus Medical Components, where they held the roles of General Manager and Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Operations and Business Segment Medical Wire, and Senior Vice President of Global Operations. In these roles, they led various functions such as Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Finance. Peter drove strategic operational initiatives and increased profits for the company's sites.
Most recently, Peter served as the Managing Director of BIOTRONIK, where they led the Asia-Pacific Manufacturing and R&D Headquarters. Peter provided direct leadership for all site functions and drove profitability and strategic growth initiatives for the business.
Throughout their career, Peter has demonstrated strong leadership and a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence within various organizations.
Peter Horan attended Bucknell University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
