Serdar Özer

Serdar Özer is an experienced project leader in research and development, currently serving as the Project Leader for R&D Combination Products at BIOTRONIK since November 2013, focusing on bioresorbable programs and drug-eluting absorbable metal scaffolds. Prior to this role, Serdar worked at Straumann from February 2010 to October 2013 as a Project Leader and Project Manager in restorative dental solutions, and at Stryker from April 2006 to January 2010, leading interdisciplinary teams in the development of medical implants. Serdar began the professional career with a master's thesis at Inamed in 2005. Academic credentials include a Master of Medical and Biotechnical Engineering from Ulm University obtained between 2004 and 2006, and a Dipl.Ing (FH) in Medical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Ulm earned from 2000 to 2004.
