Amit Bhandari

Amit Bhandari has a diverse work experience in the energy, grains, and metals commodity trading and supply industry. Amit began their career in 1993 as a Trader at ExxonMobil, where they worked for over 13 years. In 2006, Amit founded the BioUrja Group, a company focused on energy, grains, and metals commodity trading and supply. As the CEO and Chairman of the BioUrja Group, Amit is responsible for setting the company's overall direction, defining its vision and mission, and overseeing all commercial activities. Under their leadership, the BioUrja Group has experienced significant growth and is now a multi-billion dollar revenue company. The company has over 30 locations and employs approximately 300 personnel, with facilities located in various countries including China, India, Mexico, Canada, Singapore, and the United States.

Amit Bhandari pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University during the years 1989 to 1993.
