Wolfgang Schiek

Wolfgang Schiek has extensive experience in business development and sales within the chemical and biotechnology sectors. Currently, Wolfgang is engaged in business development at BIOVECTRA since March 2022. Prior to this role, Wolfgang served as Director of Business Development for CDMO projects at Evonik from August 2021 to March 2022. Wolfgang held multiple leadership positions at Cambrex from October 2015 to August 2021, including Sr. Director Sales & BD and Team Lead EU. At Novasep, from October 2008 to October 2015, Wolfgang acted as Market Director for Agrochemicals and Fine Chemicals, among other roles. Earlier experiences include a Sales Manager position at Gelita AG and various roles at DSM, culminating as a R&D Chemist. Wolfgang earned a PhD in Chemistry from Heidelberg University between 1991 and 2001.
