Ori Ben-Yehuda

Ori Ben-Yehuda has extensive work experience in the medical and research field. Ori currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at BioVentrix since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Cardiovascular Outcomes Group at the Sulpizio Cardiovascular Institute, UCSD from July 2020. Ori Ben-Yehuda has also worked as a Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego since July 2002. Ori was the Executive Director of the Clinical Trials Center at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation from June 2013 to December 2022. Prior to their roles at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, they worked as an Attending Physician in Cardiology at UC San Diego Health System from 1997 to December 2013. Ori also served as the Vice President of Clinical Research at Gilead Sciences, Inc. from January 2011 to April 2013.

Ori Ben-Yehuda completed their education in the field of medicine. They attended Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine from 1978 to 1984, earning an MD degree with magna cum laude honors. Prior to that, they studied medicine at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel from 1977 to 1978. Additionally, in 1976 to 1977, they pursued studies in biochemistry at Harvard University.
