Mark Smith is an experienced sales leader with a strong background in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Director of Sales at Bioventus since January 2012, Mark navigated the challenges of Smith & Nephew’s spinout. Previously, Mark held the position of Director of Sales at Smith+Nephew, where responsibilities included building and leading a 30+ person sales team and managing 10 associates during a key transition period. Mark also excelled as the Northeast Regional Field Sales Trainer, achieving a revenue goal of $3M within a year. Mark's earlier career included progressively responsible sales leadership roles at GE Medical, IFLOW, Richard Wolf, US Surgical Corp, Bell South, and AB Dick Corporation from 2000 to 2004. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
