Neill Pounder

Neill Pounder has extensive experience in the medical field, specifically in research and development and project management. Neill worked at Bioventus as a Senior Director, leading cross-functional programs and expanding product markets globally. Prior to that, they were a Director of Research & Development at Smith & Nephew, where they were responsible for managing R&D projects. Neill also held the role of Director of R&D at the Clinical Therapies Division of Smith & Nephew Inc. In addition, Pounder worked as a Senior Research Project Manager and Group Significant Technology Manager at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, focusing on bone healing systems and non-invasive stimulation technology. Neill began their career as a Project Manager in the Rehabilitation Business Unit of Smith & Nephew.

Neill Pounder earned a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Leeds from 1986 to 1988. Following this, Neill pursued a Ph.D. in Physics from the same institution and completed it from 1988 to 1991.
