Rob Lawton has a rich work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Starting with their early years as an Athletic Trainer at the United States Naval Academy and later the University of Maine, Lawton then transitioned into the sales and business management field. Rob held various sales positions at SwimEx Inc, DePuy Mitek, and CMJ Medical before becoming a Regional Manager at DePuy Synthes Companies. Lawton also took on roles as an Area Business Manager at Mitek Sports Medicine and as a Regional Sales Manager at Solsys Medical. Rob then moved to Misonix, where they served as the Director of Strategic Customers and later the Sr. Director of Sales Planning & Development. Currently, Lawton holds the position of Director of Training at Bioventus and is slated to become the Director of Global Sales Education in 2023. With their diverse background in sales, training, and management, Lawton brings a wealth of experience to their current and future roles.
Rob Lawton earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Iowa State University from 1986 to 1991. Rob then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree at San Diego State University from 1991 to 1993. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) from Training Industry, Inc. in December 2023.
