Sara Compton has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Sara started their career as an MIS Director at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, where they were responsible for all IT disciplines. Sara then joined RTI International as a Director of Information Systems, where they developed and drove strategic initiatives for the organization's technology portfolio. Sara then joined MATRIX Resources as a Senior Director of Professional Services, excelling in sustaining and exceeding professional services goals. Sara later joined Fujitsu Americas as the PMO Director and was promoted to Head of Resource Communities for North Americas, where they managed resource management, allocations, and downsizing initiatives. Currently, Sara is the Senior Director of Business Process Optimization at Bioventus, where they lead various transformation projects and is accountable for system controls and portfolio governance.
Sara Compton holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from East Carolina University. Sara has obtained additional certifications such as being a graduate of the RLF - Regional Leadership Forum, completing the "Leading with a Heavy Heart" course on LinkedIn, and being licensed and ordained as a Minister from First Nation Ministries. Furthermore, Sara has an AMA Leadership Certificate and is also a Certified ScrumMaster.
