Francisco D'Elia has a wealth of experience in geospatial technology, software development, and digital earth resources. Francisco began their career in 2008 as a GeoSpatial Analyst for Brett Lane and Associates. Francisco then worked as a Remote Sensing Lab Technician for the University of Melbourne in 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a GeoSpatial Engineer and Business Associate for 3D-GEO (3DGEO), and from 2012 to 2017, they were the Founder and Principal Consultant for DSSCo. In 2016, they were a Climate Resilience for the City of Miami Beach and in 2017, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of Bioverse Labs and a Global Solutions Program participant for Singularity University.
Francisco D'Elia began their education in 2003, when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas. Francisco then studied Earth Sciences at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2004 to 2006. In 2008, they obtained a Master in Spatial Sciences from the University of Melbourne. In 2017, they completed the Global Solutions Program at Singularity University, focusing on Climate Change.
