Alessia Michelotti

Alessia Michelotti is a research scientist at Bioversys. Alessia was previously a PhD student at CortecNet Corp, where they won a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship for the EUROPOL-ITN project. Alessia has also worked as an assistant secretary at Università degli Studi di Torino.

Alessia Michelotti’s research interests include the synthesis of endogenous carbon-13 and deuterium labelled compounds for DNP-MRI applications, [Ru]-catalyzed stereoretentive C2 deuteration of free amino-acids (heterogeneous catalysis), [Pd]-catalyzed C3 deuteration of amino-acid surrogates (homogeneous catalysis), and gram-scale synthesis of carbon-13 labelled L-amino acids.

Dr. Alessia Michelotti has a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Université Paris-Saclay and a Master's degree in Advanced Chemical Methods from Università degli Studi di Torino. Alessia also has a certification from the University of Cambridge in First Certificate in English.
