Ilya Mario Savva

Ilya Mario Savva is the CEO of Biowater Technology. Ilya has over 15 years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industry. Ilya has worked on a variety of projects, both in the UK and internationally, with a focus on MEICA disciplines and the utility sector. In their role as Contracts Manager at BAM Nuttall Ltd, they were responsible for leading a team of engineers, construction managers and quantity surveyors in the delivery of civil engineering projects. Ilya was also responsible for bid management of MEICA projects within the division and negotiating new works. Savva is an active member of the regional Beyond Zero delivery team and has delivered workshops to company staff and supply chain on how to reduce environmental impact and improve safety performance. Ilya is also a supporter of the development and implementation of coaching and mentoring techniques within the company.

Ilya Mario Savva's educational career includes a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University, an Engineering Council UK Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from City and Guilds, and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of East Anglia. Ilya also holds certification from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in CEng MIMechE.
