Bob Hanes

Bob Hanes has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Bob most recently worked at BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. as the Senior Director of External Manufacturing and Operations. Prior to that, they were the Drug Product Manufacturing Lead at Spark Therapeutics, Inc.

Before joining Spark Therapeutics, Inc., Bob worked at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories as the Director of CMC Proprietary Products. Bob also gained experience as the Principal Process Engineer at both Endo Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline.

In addition to their roles in the pharmaceutical industry, Bob has also been an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at both Saint Joseph's University and Middlesex County College. Bob began their career as a Process Engineer at Merck, where they spent over a decade.

Bob Hanes has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Bob later pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University between 1994 and 1998. From 2000 to 2006, Bob continued their education at Villanova University, this time majoring in Computer Engineering and obtaining a Master's degree in that field.
